About the Member Instructor:
Desiree Gilbreath
With over five years of experience in therapeutic equine riding, Desiree brings a deep passion for using horses to empower and connect with individuals of all abilities. As a certified PAPS Instructor and Horse Powered Reading Instructor, she specializes in blending equine-assisted learning with literacy and personal development. For the past 16 years, she has had the privilege of being a mother to a child with Down syndrome, an experience that has profoundly shaped her commitment to inclusive, compassionate care. She has served as an Equine Special Olympics coach, helping athletes build confidence and skills through adaptive riding.
In addition to her equine work, Desiree is also a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), specializing in caring for children with special needs—an extension of her lifelong dedication to nurturing growth and independence in every child she works with.
Whether through the saddle, the stable, or the classroom, Desiree believes in the transformative power of horses to teach, heal, and inspire.

Price & Refund Policy
Registrations are through this website only. Sessions are $ per child.
Our refund policy encourages early decisions, so as to not affect other customers or our ability to deliver efficient programs. All requests for refunds must be made at least 48 hours prior to the start of the program. There are NO refunds for missed sessions. If a program or activity is canceled due to low enrollment, a full refund or credit will be issued to your account within seven business days of the cancellation. No administrative fees will apply. If a program or activity is canceled due to inclement weather or instructor illness/emergency, and is not able to be rescheduled, a credit will be issued to your account within 7 days of the missed class. If we reschedule or offer a make-up for missed or canceled classes, no refunds or credits will be issued.
